Wonderful small hotel in the center of Merida. Huge and quiet room with good shower and painted sink, as for instance, local drinks in the on-site bar. Nice pool, parking nearby.

We absolutely loved the spacious and airy rooms with comfortable beds and beautiful Mexican decor. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the refreshing plunge pool in the courtyard. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city center and major attractions of this city. Additionally, the free secure parking was a great convenience for us.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Enchanting and delightful place to stay 1 mile away from Anthropology and History Museum. Bright, spotless rooms with a hammock. - Outstanding breakfast with jam for the start of the day. - Good service, parking nearby. - Great location - very close to various restaurants and cafes, the Paseo Montejo, and both the main plaza in one direction and the Paseo Montejo in the other.

This hotel in the old center of Merida is a gem! The value for money is incredible, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is evident everywhere, from the tastefully selected furniture to the hammock in the clean and comfortable rooms. The location couldn't be better, with Mayan sites and restaurants just a stone's throw away. The friendly staff go above and beyond to provide excellent service, making you feel right at home. And the included breakfast with delicious jam is the perfect way to start the day.
No complaints - everything was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marionetas. The staff was really helpful: they helped us planning our stay in Merida, gave us good tips on what to see in the city and booked tours for us to Uxmal and Celestun. There's a computer available for use in the lobby. The room was big and nicely decorated.
The only negative point would be that we could hear the other people in the hotel because of poor sound insulation, but overall, the hotel is fairly quiet anyway.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel in the heart of a vibrant city. The hotel is conveniently located in the old center, allowing for easy exploration of the city's historic and cultural highlights. The reasonable price of $85 per night, including a delicious breakfast, was a great value for money. The spacious and clean rooms were thoughtfully designed with attention to detail, such as comfortable beds and invigorating showers. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff made me feel right at home.
Everything about this hotel was fantastic.

This is a charming, colonial bed & breakfast close to the city center yet with the ambiance of being tucked away in a country garden. Except for the night desk clerk who was on duty upon my arrival on Sun 15May11, the staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. I would definitely stay here again!
The night desk clerk was sorely in need of more training in customer contact skills and guest relations. I suspect he was new to the position and simply did not have much experience / confidence in what / how to deal with new arrivals.
